Champions League Preview and Tips

A preview of today's UEFA Champions League games and some betting tips

GROUP E

Barcelona VS Bayern Leverkusen

The first game of matchday 2 we'd talk on today is this encounter at the Nou Camp.
One of the main talking points of this game is the absence of the ''almighgty'' Lionel Messi who has been ruled out for 7-8 weeks after picking up an injury in the game agaisnt Las Palmas. Of course it would appear as a thing of joy for Bayern Leverkusen today because its one less problem for them(lol).
The stats go against Bayern Leverkusen in this game. firstly. one major reason Messi's absence would interest Leverkusen is because the last time they visited Camp Nou, Messi scored a whooping 5 goals against them setting a Champions League goal record at the time in a game that ended 7-1(they don't call him almighty for nothing).
Barcelona are unbeaten at home since losing 3-0 to Bayen Munich(who remembers that?), and they have a very impressive home record against German opposition W20 D1 L7. The Bundesliga outfit record in Spain is W3 D2 L10(how bad can the stat be!).
Despite Messi's absence, the duo of Suarez and Neymar can still work wonders and give Barca a relaxed win and let's just hope nobody sets another goal record again.
MY TIP:4-0
BETTING TIP:1

BATE Borisov VS AS Roma

Roma come off an impressing 5-1 victory against Seria A new comers Carpi and a 1-1 draw against group heavyweights (and champiuons league favourites) Barcelona from matchday 1. While BATE where defeated by German outfit Bayern Leverkusen.
MY TIP:0-2
BETTING TIP:2

GROUP G

FC Porto vs Chelsea FC

This game I have picked as the encounter of the evening. This game would see Jose Mourinho make an emotional return to Porto (a team he once led to Champions League success) this evening and possibly hope to see Chelsea end their worst ever start to a season.

Another reunion we would see  would be that of Mourinho and Porto's goalkeeper Casillas. After the humiliation Casillas had to undergo at the hand of Mourinho, he will be looking to prove to the man that he still is one of the best goalkeepers around.
Chelsea are coming off the back of a hard fought draw at St. James' Park on sunday, and sit comfortably as Group G  leaders after seeing off Maccabi with a comfortable 4-0 win while Porto had to settle for a 2-2 draw with Dynamo Kiev.
The head-to-head record for both teams seesn Chelsea on top with 3 wins 1 draw and a single win to Porto.
But Chelsea fans, records don't play football. Its 11 vs 11 and it promises to be a tricky encounter and an interesting one.
MY TIP:1-2
BETTING TIP:X2

The other fixture in this group sees Maccabi Tel-Aviv at home  against Dynamo Kiev: we don't have to say a lot on this one.

MY TIP:1-2
BETTING TIP:2

GROUP F

Arsenal VS Olympiakos
This game needs no introduction, we know Arsenal are having a bumpy ride(like they always do) and are coming off a defeat at the hands of Dinamo Zagreb, but thanks to their 5-2 thrashing of Leicester City, their confidence is back and we expect them to win.
MY TIP:3-0
BETTING TIP:1

Bayern Munich VS Dinamo Zagreb

Bayern Munich are not Arsenal who lost to Zagreb and even if they where Arsenal they won't lose at home to Dinamo Zagreb(let's be fair to Arsenal pls). We expect a straight victory from Bayern and nothing else(and a Lewandowski hat-trick).
MY TIP:6-0
BETTING TIP:1

MY TIP:2-1
