WELCOME TO SPORTING50

 Welcome To Sporting50                                                                                                                                                                                                     Officially, this will be the first post of the blog. And while I thought of what to first publish, a suggestion came from a friend that I start with how it all started. I had thought of creating a platform to share information with people, because I love being in the know. So I wanted to share information, and on the 8th day of December 2014, I finally decided on blogging. I created a blogspot for sharing general information with people i.e information from breaking news to trending news, in short news in general. After a series of consultations, I finally decided to focus on blogging about sports. People who know me very well know that i am an avid lover and follower of sports. Sports especially football is more than a hobby to me, it is something I am very passionate for!. And the decision was made. One of the first challenges I had to overcome was choosing a name for the blog. The night I was creating the blog, I felt like giving up on the whole thing and going to bed because all the names I was thinking of where already taken. I checked all these blogs that had taken the names I wanted and discovered that 80% of them have not been operational since 2005. You can imagine what I felt inside me-anger right. That made me feel like, well, if I can't get a name I should just forget the whole thing and go to bed. And I decided sporting50 and alas! The only one that wasn't taken. People have asked me, and you might want to ask, "what does the 50 stand for?". I don't know is the answer i'll give. It just came to my mind like that, and I picked it. I like to say it came from JAH. End of story. What I can promise to give to my readers is that i'll try and do all within my powers to make sure you don't get bored. I'll try to make sure that whatever standard you'll expect from a blog on sports will be met. We'll bring you latest sports news as it relates to especially football even from within our own local league (The NPFL), pre-match and post-match reviews, and from other sporting activities we can lay our hands on, with a view to making it always interactive with you our readers involved.
